Saratoga Springs, New York The Skidmore College volleyball team will host the University of Rochester on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. The game is part of the Pink Out initiative.

A partnership between Skidmore and the Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink program is being formed.

A portion of the proceeds from Side-Out go towards research targeting metastatic breast cancer patients, the most advanced form of the disease, which is the least funded.

Side-Out provides metastatic breast cancer patients and their oncologists with an unprecedented analysis for every $2,000 raised through Dig Pink.

In this analysis, treatment solutions and clinical trials for each patient are ranked based on their ability to improve their quality of life and length of life substantially.

Observers are encouraged to wear pink on Saturday as part of Skidmore volleyball’s pink uniform accessories campaign.
