Cleveland State Volleyball Falls At NKU

A 3-1 loss to Northern Kentucky Friday was Cleveland State’s second Horizon League loss of the season.

With a 9-7 record overall and a 3-2 record in #HLVB play, Cleveland State now sits at 3rd in the conference.

As a team, the Vikings were led by Liberty Torres, who finished with 16 kills, her fourth consecutive double-digit kill performance, while Laken Voss finished with nine kills.

A 33-assist and 10-dig double-double by Karly Klaer against NKU is her 11th of the season.

As the Viking defense’s leading digger, Emma Walker recorded 26 digs, her ninth 20-dig performance this season.

There were six service aces combined by Cleveland State, including two by Klaer and two by Reilly Wadden.

Friday marked the collegiate debut of redshirt freshman Abbi Martin.

Vikings will close out the weekend tomorrow with a 4:00 p.m. contest.
