We’re now at the stage where we can discuss which teams are looking the strongest or who have recruited the best. Taylor Harvey – Outside Hitter

In fact, she’s so good she could choose between volleyball or basketball as she excelled at both during her years at Bountiful High.

Marin Collins – Outside Hitter
The volleyball coaches at Penn State will also be rubbing their hands together after they pulled off arguably the best capture of the season. Marin Collins was the number one recruit in the class of 25, and it is Penn State that she agreed to commit to.
As the long-serving captain for Frontier Central High School in New York, she’s known as much for her leadership as for her prolific point-scoring. In her final season, she recorded a huge 478 kills on 6.9 kills per set. As for Penn State, they’re looking extremely strong following this capture. Collins will team up with the number one recruit, Izzy Starck, who the college was again lucky enough to get in 2023.
Addison Horner – Setter
Fans of the Wisconsin Badgers will also have high hopes for the upcoming season following the arrival of Addison Hamer from St. Francis College Preparatory High School. Horner was voted the best setter in Illinois by Prep Dig, and she has gone into her high school history books by becoming the first player to reach 1,000 assists and kills.
Horner is also renowned for her versatility as she can play multiple positions really well. She is a top performer as both a set and an opposite.
Renee Jones – Opposite Hitter
At 6’5 and still growing, it’s not difficult to see the physical attributes that Renee Jones will bring to the University of Arizona following her commitment from MG Academy. However, it would be foolish to assume size is all she has. The powerful opposite hitter comes from an esteemed family of athletes, most prominently her parents who both played professional basketball in their younger days.
Jones is versatile, and strong, and is also deceivingly good with her offensive contributions. One thing is sure, and everybody will be keeping an eye on the progress of this one!
Taylor Deckert – Defensive Specialist/Libero
The first defensive specialist to make the move to collegiate-level volleyball in time for the new season is Taylor Deckert. A fixture in the Mira Costa girls volleyball team for the past three seasons, Deckert has finally made her move to USC in California.
Instrumental on both the court and the beach, Deckert has led Mira Costa to four finals across both disciplines. According to reports, she is super excited to hook up with her new team, but we’d argue they’re probably more excited due to the talent that’s coming into it.
Suli Davis – Outside Hitter
The final prospect we want to bring attention to is Suli Davis, an outside hitter who has arrived at Brigham Young University from Colleyville Heritage. Ranked as the second-best player in the class of 2025 and the sixth in the country, this is a major coup for the college.
Her numbers will also have opposing teams worried as the new season starts. Davis recorded over 1,000 kills in her first two high school seasons alone. That prolific scoring streak also accompanied a season that brought a record-breaking win total, of 43.
